Getting paid to be sexy is very different than feeling sexy.

Before I started selling my pleasure for others to buy, I never felt sexual or sensual. Sex was just something people did that didn’t much interest me. It may be why I am so good at what I do for a living. I can flip a switch and become someone else entirely as I work for the camera. I may get off, but it is like scratching an itch but never hitting the sweet spot.

From the first time he touched me, a whole new part of me came alive. A part that responds to his touch, his husky whispers in my ear, the way he looks at me when he’s about to kiss me. And the way his eyes darken when I know he wants to do more than kiss me.

Our third date was meant to be a movie date—but it became so much more. We made love in the theater with the movie we barely watched still playing. I had no idea it could be like that. Sensual and soft even when we were hungry for each other. We couldn’t wait another minute and it didn’t matter where we were, we had to have one another.

Every night he would drop me off with a kiss and a promise to see me for another date. And every night I wanted to drag him in and do dirty things to him. I wanted to use all the skills I pretend I have for the camera on him. I wanted him to crave me, to need me, to mean it when he said he wanted me to stay here in Silver Shorts.

Last night, I acted. We were kissing at the door, but I wanted more. I never wanted the night to end. I wanted this thing between us to go on forever. What we had shared at the movie theater had sealed my fate.

It took me twenty-two years to want someone and three days to fall in love with him.

“Come inside,” my voice was raw and needy as I begged him not to leave me alone another night, “I don’t want you to go, baby,” I admitted.

Lifting my head, I peer over the mess left in our wake. Clothes litter the floor, there is popcorn and beer bottles on every surface, and when I move, a twinge of pain hits me. We barely got inside the hotel room before he started stripping me of my clothes, both of us laughing at the popcorn that we kept finding. We made love on the shaky table in the corner, in the shower, and again in the bed. My body is paying for it today, but it was so worth it.

“You awake, angel?” his raspy morning voice at my ear makes me shudder.

“I am now,” I sigh as I stretch back against his hard body.

His warm skin heats the back of my skin, his big hands smoothing up my front.
